Leonardo da Vinci (April 1452 - May 1519) was an Italian Renaissance Man with interests in; inventing, painting, architecture, mathematics, engineering, writing, geology, history, astronomy, music and sculpting.  Of course, the majority of people are aware of his works in the art industry and many of his paintings are highly sought after.  The vast majority of scholars and historians call him a universal genius and nearly everyone considers him to be one of the greatest painters of all time.
