Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (March 1843 - April 1520) was an Italian painter and architect during the High Renaissance period where his work is known for clarity of form and ease of composition. The majority of his works are fresco's produced on the wall of the Vatican Palace. Along with Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, the three of them were considered the great masters of the period.
